These double-acting short-stroke cylinders of the ND series feature a piston rod and an anti-rotation device, so that the piston rod is supported against rotation without an additional external guide. The range comprises more than 48 items with piston diameters from 63 to 100 mm.
The anti-rotation device absorbs torque loads and ensures a defined angular position of the piston rod. This makes these cylinders suitable for handling and positioning tasks where rotation of the load must be prevented.
Anti-rotation short-stroke cylinders with piston rod are used when a short linear movement without rotation of the load is required. The integrated anti-rotation device saves an external guide and keeps tools or fixtures in a defined angular position.
