Ball valves and shut-off valves
Pneumatic flanged pinch valves shut off a pipeline by pressurising the valve body, so that control air squeezes an elastomer sleeve until the bore closes. Only the sleeve sees the process fluid, the body stays out of the flow path. The range holds 68 items in nominal sizes DN 50 to DN 250, flanged to PN 16 or PN 10 as per DIN/EN.
The sleeve governs the selection: abrasion resistant natural rubber for solids, natural rubber in food grade quality, EPDM or nitrile. Valve bodies are made of aluminium. Because the sleeve is the only wearing part, every nominal size is also listed as a separate replacement sleeve in the same four elastomer grades.
Start from the nominal size and the flange rating of the line, then pick the sleeve grade to match the medium: abrasion resistant natural rubber for scouring solids, food grade rubber for product lines, EPDM or nitrile according to chemical load. During service only the sleeve is exchanged, while body and flange joint stay in the pipe. Replacement sleeves are listed individually from DN 65 up to DN 250.
Dosing and isolating duties on abrasive bulk solids, granulates, sand, cement and sludge, where ball valves and butterfly valves wear out at the seat. Versions with food grade natural rubber sleeves serve product lines in food and feed processing. Sizes up to DN 250 run in mineral processing, sewage treatment plants and building material production on silo and conveying lines.
