Festo
Festo sensors detect positions, states and physical quantities in pneumatic and automated systems. The range covers more than 1,090 items and spans proximity switches of the SME series through to pressure, flow and optical sensors.
Proximity switches report the piston position of actuators, inductive and optical sensors detect objects without contact, and pressure and flow sensors monitor process variables. The programme also contains signal converters, sensor boxes and matching accessories.

Sensors are used for state and position monitoring on cylinders, grippers and handling units. SME series proximity switches are mounted directly on the actuator and report the end positions to the controller.
