Multi-couplings gather several circuits into a single interface: supply and return, several cold plates, or cooling and control lines are mated in one movement. That saves handling steps and rules out cross-connection, because the layout of the nipples fixes which line goes where. In a docking system the coupling plate is fixed in the frame and the mating plate arrives with the module; any misalignment between the two is taken up by the mount. The range covers the Multi Cupla series MAS, MAT, MAM and MALC in body sizes from 1 to 16. Versions carrying the FL suffix, such as MALC-3S-FL and MALC-6P-FL, are intended for mounting in a plate. Most of the range is stainless steel; a few types such as MAM-1TP-8 and MAM-1TP-16 are brass. For a closed water-glycol circuit the stainless steel versions are the right choice.
