Tank Heaters
KTR
KTR tank heaters keep the temperature of hydraulic oil in the reservoir at a setpoint, securing the start-up viscosity at low ambient temperatures. The range holds more than 81 items of the EH series with different heating ratings.
The heaters are graded in power steps from 380 W upward and are available with a G 1 1/2 inch screw-in connection and 230 V supply. Variants with integrated temperature sensor or switch (TA, TI) allow temperature monitoring.
Tank heaters are used in hydraulic power units that must start at low temperatures, for example in outdoor installations and cold stores, to preheat the oil to operating viscosity.
