KTR oil/water coolers cool hydraulic oil through a water-fed heat exchanger, keeping the system operating temperature within the target range. The range holds more than 56 items of the TAK/TP series in several sizes.
The coolers are graded in sizes A1 to A5 and B1 upward and cover different heat dissipation ratings. As shell-and-tube heat exchangers they transfer heat from the oil to the cooling water circuit.
Oil/water coolers are used in hydraulic power units, gearboxes and industrial plants where cooling water is available and a constant oil temperature secures the viscosity and service life of the fluid.
