Filtration in a closed water-glycol loop keeps particles away from the narrow channels of cold plates. A channel a few tenths of a millimetre wide is blocked by assembly swarf, seal abrasion and corrosion products long before temperature monitoring reacts, and pressure loss rises first. This branch groups 469 items into four families: strainers and screens from DN 8 to DN 32 with mesh sizes of 0.05 to 1.0 mm, side-stream filters and filter housings, filter elements from 0.01 to 40 microns, and separators. Brands are Riegler, Fluidics equipment, E.MC, Resideo Braukmann and Cejn.
Sizing follows two stages. A coarse screen with a mesh of 0.5 to 1.0 mm protects the pump and the control valves against commissioning debris, while a fine side-stream filter rated 5 microns keeps the continuous particle load low. Material choice is fixed for the IT loop: stainless steel, PVDF, PP, PE, PTFE, POM and PVC are unrestricted, brass, gunmetal and sintered bronze only with a single-metal pairing, galvanised steel and aluminium not at all.
