Mounting and cable management covers the parts that hold pipes, hoses and cables in place in the cooling loop of a data centre: pipe clamps to DIN 3015 in the light and heavy series, worm drive hose clamps, C section mounting rails, brackets and consoles, plus cable ties for the accompanying wiring. The branch holds 8,241 items from Stauff, Hydac, Norma, Riegler, Oetiker and Band-It. Clamp bodies cover pipe outside diameters from 10 mm to 65 mm, hose clamps clamping ranges from 10 mm to 110 mm.
In a water glycol loop the material pairing decides how long a fixing lasts. Clamp bodies in polypropylene and polyamide isolate the pipe electrically from the steelwork and damp vibration from pumps and flow. Hardware should be stainless steel, for example 1.4301 (W4) or 1.4401/1.4571 (W5); galvanised steel and aluminium are ruled out in a glycol loop, and brass belongs only where it meets brass or gunmetal in a single material pairing.
