Pipe clamps to DIN 3015 hold the pipes and hoses of a cooling loop on steelwork, mounting rail or console. A clamp consists of two clamp halves, a cover plate or weld plate and the bolt; the catalogue lists 7,957 items, either as separate clamp bodies or as complete clamps including all hardware. Sizes run from size 1 for 10 mm pipe outside diameter to size 6S for 65 mm, plus twin clamps such as size 3D for 22 and 15 mm. The main brand is Stauff with 7,272 items, joined by Hydac, Norma and Riegler.

Three details drive the selection: the size taken from the pipe outside diameter, the material of the clamp body and the mounting method. Polypropylene is the standard choice in a water glycol loop, polyamide takes higher clamping loads; neither polymer is critical in the cooling circuit. The heavy series, marked S, carries greater loads than the light series. Hardware should be stainless steel, as galvanised steel and aluminium are ruled out in a glycol loop.
