Balancing and line regulating valves set how much coolant passes through each riser. Without them the flow takes the shortest path, nearby racks are over-supplied and distant ones stay warm. This group holds 42 items and consists mainly of needle valves: fine-adjustment versions in DN 4 with G 1/4 and G 3/8, and DN 8 needle valves with Rp/R 3/8 and Rp/R 1/2 as female, male and mixed thread versions. Panel-mount versions and a compact flow control valve complete the range.
A needle valve meters through a tapered plug, which gives a fine and repeatable setting but does not seal tight. Isolation and balancing therefore belong to two separate valves. Everything in this group is brass or nickel-plated brass, which a water-glycol circuit only tolerates where the material pairing stays consistent throughout; mixing copper alloys with stainless steel invites corrosion.
