Pneumatic and hydraulic couplings are precision-engineered fluid connectors rated for operating pressures from 10 bar (NW 2.7 miniature series) up to 400 bar (ISO 14541 hydraulic screw couplings), with nominal bore sizes spanning NW 5 through NW 19 for pneumatic quick-release designs and up to 2" BSP for camlock and Guillemin variants. Flat-face couplings conforming to ISO 16028 deliver residual-volume spillage below 0.1 cm³ per disconnect cycle, while temperature control couplings rated to 160 °C (NW 6-13 mm pin series) maintain dimensional integrity across thermal cycling in injection-moulding and press applications. Coded workshop couplings (NW 5 / NW 7.2) follow EN 563 colour-coding to prevent accidental cross-connection between air circuits operating at different pressures.
