Choosing the right SMC series

Electric or pneumatic drive?

For fast, simple lifting and handling movements pneumatic cylinders are economical. If you need defined positions, variable speed or force control, electric drives are the better choice. The LEJB and LEJS series offer programmable positioning with a servo motor.

Belt or screw drive?

The decision follows speed, accuracy and load:

Belt drive (LEJB): high travel speed and long strokes with moderate positioning accuracy.
Screw drive (LEJS): high positioning accuracy and thrust, ideal for precise or heavier tasks.

Tubing for ultra-pure media

For chemical, semiconductor and analytical engineering, high-purity PFA tubing (TIL, TILM, TLM and TH series) is chemical-resistant and low in particles. Mind the metric or inch size and the right inside diameter for your fitting.
