Couplings and Disconnects
Filling and Flushing Couplings
Filling and flushing couplings are the ports at which a cooling circuit is filled, vented, flushed and drained again. They sit at the low and high points of the system, at pump sets, filter housings and reservoirs, and are only occupied temporarily: attach the hose, circulate the medium, disconnect, close off. With 1,414 items this is the largest group in the branch, supplied by Nitto Kohki, Riegler, LinkTech, Cejn and our own brand.
Sizes run from the Micro Cupla MC-05SM and Mini Cupla 25SH through Compact Cupla CO-1SF with R 1/8, Mold Cupla K02SF with R 1/4, S210 Cupla S210-3P with R 3/8 and TSP Cupla 4TPM with Rc 1/2 up to the Lever Lock Cupla in body size 16. Where cleanliness matters the Semicon SP Cupla in 304 stainless steel is available, for example 1S-304-P and 4S-304-KL.

Typical applications
- Initial filling of the water-glycol circuit at commissioning
- Flushing pipework before the servers are connected, to carry out particles and residues
- Draining and venting individual branches before rebuilds
- Topping up glycol and inhibitor through a permanent port
- Connecting flushing carts, filter loops and mobile pumps
- Sampling and measuring ports for conductivity and particle content
