Flow rate as the selection criterion
The size is chosen according to the flow rate and the amount of condensate produced in the relevant section of the system. Small stations manage with compact drains, while large networks and dryers need correspondingly more powerful sizes.
Installation point in the compressed air network
Condensate is produced at different points - at the compressor, at the receiver, at the dryer and at filters. For high condensate volumes, for example downstream of the refrigeration dryer, the CO versions are the right choice.

What is a BEKOMAT condensate drain?
A BEKOMAT is an electronic, level-controlled condensate drain for compressed air systems. It senses the condensate level and opens the valve only when condensate is actually present, so that no compressed air is blown off with it.
How does an electronic drain differ from a float drain?
Electronic drains such as the BEKOMAT work under level control and discharge condensate without losses, without blowing off compressed air. They are also less sensitive to contamination than purely mechanical float drains and report faults at an early stage.
Which BEKOMAT size do I need?
The size is chosen according to the flow rate and the amount of condensate at the installation point. Small stations manage with compact series such as 31 U or 32 U, while large networks and dryers require more powerful series such as 14 or 16.
What do the CO versions stand for?
