What is the difference between bladder and diaphragm accumulators?

In a bladder accumulator a bladder separates gas and oil, here with nominal volumes from 1 to 50 l. In a diaphragm accumulator a diaphragm does this job, and the SBO100 to SBO330 series range from 0.075 to 3.5 l.

What do the numbers in the type code mean?

In SB330-10A1 or SBO210-0,75E1 the number after SB or SBO gives the permissible operating pressure in bar, the number after the hyphen the nominal volume in litres.

Can the bladder of a bladder accumulator be replaced?

Yes. Accumulator bladders are available as spare parts from 1 to 50 l, with thread 7 and with thread M50x1.5 for 50 l.

How is a hydraulic accumulator mounted?
