Sealing Technology
A seal kit keeps an installed valve in service instead of replacing it. The category holds 128 items from Fluidics equipment and Riegler: seal kits for stainless steel needle valves in the thread groups G 1/8 to G 3/8, G 1/2 to G 3/4 and G 1, repair kits for direct mount stainless steel ball valves in DN 15 and DN 20, wear part kits for pilot operated solenoid valves with a brass body in DN 13, DN 20 to 25 and DN 32 to 40, and wear part kits for stainless steel pressure regulators and filter regulators in sizes 1 and 3.
With solenoid valve kits the elastomer version matters: they are offered in NBR and in FPM, and both are made for oil, compressed air and chemicals, not for hot water with glycol. EPDM is the material that fits a cooling loop, so a valve on the water side should be built with EPDM parts. The body material matters as well: brass and gunmetal only in a single-metal assembly, stainless steel without restriction.
