Assembly pastes, valve grease and threadlockers are the consumables that decide the quality of a finished joint. Fourteen items from Fluidics equipment, OKS and Henkel cover the field: assembly paste for stainless steel cutting ring fittings, among others in a 500 g brush tin, OKS 1149 long-term silicone grease with PTFE in a 400 ml cartridge, 500 g tin and 5 kg and 25 kg kegs, OKS 1111 multi-purpose silicone grease as a 400 ml aerosol for valves, seals and plastic parts, and a cleaner for PVC-U pipe in a 1 litre container.
Stainless steel against stainless steel tends to gall when tightened: without assembly paste the union nut tears the thread and the fitting can then only be removed destructively. The paste also lowers friction so the applied torque arrives as preload at the seal. Silicone grease keeps valve spindles and seals moving. The category also holds accessories for high-pressure cleaners: lances 300 and 900 mm long, a flat jet nozzle, a nozzle guard and spray guns in brass rated PN 280 bar and in 1.4301 rated PN 310 bar.
