Flat, profile and moulded seals sit wherever two plane faces or a threaded socket are clamped together: replacement gaskets for pipe unions, profile seals on pressure gauge ports, moulded gaskets for Camlock couplings and for DIN 11851 threaded sockets. The category holds 106 items from Fluidics equipment and Riegler. The replacement gaskets cover threads R and Rp 2, 2-1/2, 3 and 4 with outside diameters from 76.0 to 138.0 mm at 2.0 mm thickness, and the Camlock gaskets cover DN 20 to DN 32.
Most of the range is PTFE, which suits a water-glycol loop: PTFE resists water, glycol and practically every additive and does not age. Camlock gaskets are also offered as NBR with a PTFE face; NBR is an oil and compressed air material and is not the right choice in cooling water, and neither is FKM. Where an elastomer is needed, EPDM belongs in the loop. Profile seals in stainless steel 1.4571 are uncritical on the media side.
