Filtration and Loop Cleaning
Filter elements are the wear part of any filtration stage: the housing stays in the line, the element is replaced on differential pressure or on a fixed interval. The nine replacement elements on offer cover grades of 0.01, 5, 8 and 40 microns and fit sizes 1 to 3 as well as the DF20 and DF30 housings. Materials are sintered polyethylene, sintered bronze and borosilicate with POM end caps. Brands are Riegler and Fluidics equipment.
For a water-glycol loop sintered PE is the uncritical choice: chemically resistant, dimensionally stable and reusable after flushing. Sintered bronze stays limited to single-metal copper alloy loops, because copper alloys next to aluminium or zinc components encourage pitting corrosion. The range is currently narrow and is being built out along the housings we stock; elements for further series are sourced on request.
