Solenoid and motorised control valves open or close a cooling circuit on an electrical signal, without anyone having to reach the valve. That allows circuits to be released by temperature, changeover between free cooling and chiller, and a leaking section to be isolated from the control room. The group holds 298 items: two-way brass solenoid valves of the M and ZS series in G 3/4, G 1 and G 1 1/2, plus brass ball valves with a double-acting pneumatic actuator in Rp 3/8 and Rp 1/2. Brands: Fluidics equipment, E.MC, Riegler, Airtec and YPC.

Voltage is the first decision: stock covers 12, 24, 48, 115 and 230 V, each as a DC or AC version. The difference is not only electrical. The same series switches up to 16 bar on AC, while on DC the permitted differential pressure ends at 9 to 10 bar. All versions listed here are normally closed, so the circuit shuts on power failure. Clarify the seal variant before ordering: EPDM suits water-glycol, FKM belongs with oils.

⚡ Voltage and current type - 12, 24, 48, 115 and 230 V in stock, as DC and AC. The current type sets the permitted differential pressure of the same series.

↕ Check the differential pressure - AC versions are rated up to 16 bar, DC versions up to 9 or 10 bar. The vacuum range is covered down to minus 0.95 bar.

✓ Fail position - The valves listed are normally closed. On power failure the circuit shuts, which is what you want for leak isolation and what you must review for cooling duty.

⚙ Seal against the medium - Each series comes in two seal variants. EPDM is the right elastomer for water-glycol, FKM is intended for oils and fuels.

⚑ Actuated ball valve as alternative - Ball valves with a double-acting actuator in Rp 3/8 and Rp 1/2 also switch large cross sections and leave the full bore open.

↻ Connection size - G 3/4, G 1 and G 1 1/2 on the solenoid valves, Rp 3/8 and Rp 1/2 on the actuated ball valves.
