Filtration and Loop Cleaning
Strainers hold back coarse particles before they reach the narrow channels of cold plates and the seats of control valves. The screen sits in the angled branch of the body, collects assembly swarf, seal abrasion and corrosion products, and can be withdrawn for cleaning without dismantling the pipe run. The 252 items cover connection sizes G 1/4 to G 1 1/4, corresponding to DN 8 through DN 32, with mesh sizes from 0.05 to 1.0 mm. Brands are Riegler, Fluidics equipment and Resideo Braukmann.
Mesh size follows the task: 0.5 mm and coarser to protect the pump during commissioning, 0.2 to 0.3 mm in continuous operation, 0.05 mm upstream of sensitive control valves. Bodies are available in plain brass, nickel-plated brass and gunmetal, replacement screens in 1.4408 stainless steel for -20 to +200 °C. Copper alloys stay uncritical in a water-glycol loop only with a single-metal pairing; where stainless steel and plastics dominate, the strainer should follow suit.
