Straight male stud couplings of this group carry a parallel Whitworth pipe thread G, which bridges an inch sized port to a metric tube. The range covers 113 items across eight thread sizes from G 1/8" up to G 1-1/2".
An elastomer ring seals on the flat face of the port, so no hemp, no tape is needed. On the tube side, twenty end sizes of series L as well as series S span 6 to 42 mm outside diameter, in stainless steel 1.4571 or zinc plated steel, supplied along with a cutting ring, an NC clamping ring, or as a body only.
These couplings apply wherever pumps, motors, valve blocks or gauges carry G pipe thread ports while the pipework itself is metric. They are the counterpart to the metric stud version, saving an extra adapter. Typical fields are hydraulic power stations, test benches, compressor plant as well as the rebuild of imported machinery.
