Safety valves and instrumentation
Factory set and sealed safety valves limit the permissible working pressure in compressed air and liquid systems. The set pressure is adjusted at the works and lead sealed, so it cannot be altered in service. This range of high-performance safety valves covers 804 versions with set pressures from 0.2 - 50 bar.
Connection threads run from G 1/2" to G 1-1/2", orifice sizes from DN 11 to DN 48. Brass or stainless steel 1.4404 is available as the material. Depending on orifice size and set pressure, the discharge capacity lies between 107 and 8494 m³/h.
The valves protect compressed air networks, compressor stations, pressure vessels and water circuits where a maximum allowable working pressure has to be limited. Brass versions cover neutral media such as compressed air, water and oil, while stainless steel 1.4404 suits corrosive media and higher purity requirements. Small orifices from DN 11 safeguard single consumers or branch lines, whereas DN 48 at up to 8494 m³/h covers complete distribution mains. The lead seal keeps the set pressure constant throughout service life.
