Precision hydraulic tubes to EN 10305-4 come cold drawn, produced without a weld seam, so the bore surface plus the wall thickness stay uniform along the whole length. This category holds 103 items in outside diameters from 4 to 42 mm, wall thicknesses from 1 to 5 mm.
Selection follows the pairing of outside diameter with wall thickness, such as 6 x 1.5 mm, 10 x 1 mm, 16 x 2 mm, 30 x 4 mm or 42 x 3 mm, then the surface finish. Three versions stand ready: oiled steel, black phosphated, plus zinc plated over chromate.
These tubes run as pressure lines, return lines, drain lines on power packs, presses, mobile working machines. Small diameters from 4 mm feed control lines along with gauge lines, while sizes from 25 x 4 mm carry main runs at high flow rate. Wall thickness together with diameter sets the pressure rating, which is why one outside diameter appears at several wall figures, as in 16 x 1.5 mm next to 16 x 2 mm. Black phosphated tube along with the zinc plated chromated grade goes outside closed housings, oiled tube mostly inside.
