Couplings and quick connectors
Coded quick-release couplings with a nominal width of 5 mm prevent the mix-up of media or pressure circuits through colour and geometric coding. The range covers about 67 items as coupling plugs, coupling sockets and bulkhead plugs.
Coding is defined by colour and profile shape, such as brown with a 9.5 mm triangle, blue with hexagon SW10, green with a Ø 10.5 mm circle and red with octagon SW10. Connections are available as hose tails for 1/4" and 3/8" hose and as G 1/8" and G 1/4" threads.
The mechanical and colour coding ensures that only matching plugs and sockets connect. This keeps pressure circuits, gases or tools clearly separated and rules out mix-ups at workstations with multiple supply lines.
