Straight female stud couplings carry an internal thread; they screw onto an existing male spigot rather than into a tapped housing port. The category covers 73 plastic items that lead the hose on in line along the thread axis.
The internal thread comes in G 1/8", G 1/4", G 3/8", G 1/2", the hose end in six sizes from 6 x 4 to 14 x 12 mm. Beside single material versions in PP, PVDF or PFA there are polyamide bodies fitted with a polypropylene clamping ring.
These couplings apply wherever the mating part already carries a male thread - filter housings, pump spigots, valves or tank bulkhead ports. The straight body extends the line along the thread axis, which fits any layout where height is uncritical. Material follows the fluid: polyamide with a polypropylene ring for water plus compressed air, PVDF or PFA for chemically aggressive liquids.
