Festo electric drives perform movements with an electric-motor drive and enable free positioning, controlled speed and force. The range covers electric axes, cylinders and slides, rotary actuators, handling modules and the associated accessories.
Examples include EGC-series toothed-belt axes in various sizes and stroke lengths. With more than 1,600 items, the section covers electric linear and handling technology together with mounting and attachment parts.
Categories
Electric drives position by means of a motor and mechanics such as a toothed belt or spindle and allow freely programmable positions, controlled speed and defined force. Compared with purely pneumatic drives, they offer higher repeat accuracy and flexibility across several target positions. Axes and handling modules can be combined into multi-axis systems.
