Festo electric rotary actuators generate defined rotary movements for swivel, turning and rotary-lift tasks. The ERMB rotary module and ERMO rotary drive series offer programmable angular positions instead of fixed end stops.
This compact group comprises 7 items in sizes from roughly 12 to 32. The actuators complement electric axes and slides and are controlled with Festo motors and controllers.
Electric rotary actuators are used for turning, aligning and positioning workpieces in handling and assembly cells. Freely programmable rotation angles allow flexible sequences and replace pneumatic rotary actuators with fixed end positions.
