Tube fittings
L-type male stud fittings turn a rigid tube through 90 degrees and screw it straight into a housing, a valve block or a pump port. The category lists 71 items; a union nut plus a cutting ring hold the tube, the ring biting into the tube surface as the nut is tightened.
Compared with a straight stud followed by a separate tube bend, the elbow saves both installation space and one joint. Choice follows the male thread from R 1/8" to R 1/2" or G 3/4" to G 1-1/2", then the tube outside diameter of 4 to 42 mm in series LL, L or S.
These elbows sit directly on the housing of pumps, valve blocks or cylinders, sending the tube run off in the required direction at once. They are picked where there is too little room behind the port for a bent length of tube, for example inside control cabinets or densely packed power units. Series covering 4 to 8 mm tube serve control lines, while the heavy series up to 38 mm tube carries the main runs.
