Safety valves and instrumentation

TÜV safety valves for low pressure

This range covers 144 versions of factory set, sealed TÜV safety valves for gases in the lower pressure range. The set pressure is fixed at the works and spans 0.90 bar to 8.50 bar, with steps such as 2.50 bar, 3.00 bar, 4.00 bar, 4.50 bar and 5.00 bar.

Connection threads run from G 1/2" (DN 13) through G 3/4" (DN 19) and G 1-1/4" (DN 23) up to G 1-1/2" (DN 30). Depending on nominal size and set pressure, the discharge capacity lies between 35.2 m³/h and 2860 m³/h. Seal materials available are FKM and EPDM.

How to choose TÜV safety valves for low pressure

What matters when choosing: properties, comparison and typical applications.

Technical data

⚡Set pressure 0.90 - 8.50 bar - factory set and sealed, no readjustment during operation.
⚙Nominal sizes DN 13 to DN 30 - threads G 1/2", G 3/4", G 1-1/4" and G 1-1/2".
💨Discharge capacity 35.2 - 2860 m³/h - intermediate ratings such as 57 m³/h, 123 m³/h, 412.7 m³/h and 935.8 m³/h cover small as well as large flow volumes.
🔧FKM or EPDM seal - standard version with FKM, plus a variant fitted with an EPDM seal.
📊144 versions - close graduation of set pressure and nominal size within one consistent series.
🛡Design for gases - rated for compressed air and further technical gases, TÜV approved design.

Applications

Typical installation points are compressed air networks and compressor stations, pressure vessels and air receivers, plus distribution lines downstream of pressure regulators where the system pressure stays below 10 bar. Small sizes from DN 13 protect individual machines and control loops, while larger bodies up to DN 30 with a discharge capacity of up to 2860 m³/h protect whole network sections. Besides compressed air the valves suit nitrogen and other non-flammable technical gases; the EPDM variant widens the choice of media compared with the standard FKM seal.
