Safety valves and instrumentation
Filter regulators of the Multifix series 5 combine filtration and pressure regulation in a single unit, available in the connection threads G 3/4" and G 1". Pressure regulating ranges run from 0.1 - 3 bar to 0.5 - 16 bar, gauge scales from 0 - 4 bar to 0 - 25 bar.
The series comprises 62 versions: standard units, lockable designs and safety filter regulators with an upstream lockable ball valve plus filling valve. Bowls are supplied in plastic, in plastic with protective cage or in metal with sight glass; condensate drain options are automatic, semi-automatic or closed in the depressurised state.
The units are installed at the compressed air inlet of machines and systems, conditioning the supply to cylinders, valve terminals, air tools and blow-off stations. In the G 3/4" and G 1" body sizes they hold the set working pressure between 0.1 bar and 16 bar constant and separate condensate as well as particles ahead of downstream components. A metal bowl with sight glass suits oil-laden or thermally loaded compressed air, while the protective cage shields plastic bowls in rough workshop duty. The safety design with lockable ball valve plus filling valve allows the line to be isolated and slowly repressurised during maintenance work.
