Pneumatic Valves
Pneumatically actuated valves from Airtec are switched by pilot air instead of an electrical coil and suit controls without electrical auxiliary power. The range holds about 58 items, including 3/2 and 5/2-way valves, pneumatic pulse valves, timer valves and two-hand safety blocks.
The valves are available in port sizes M 5, G 1/8" and G 1/4", with spring or air spring return. The timer valves cover delay ranges from fractions of a second up to 20 seconds; individual versions are ATEX approved.
Purely pneumatic controls are used where electrical energy is undesirable or not permitted, for example in explosion-hazard areas with a suitable ATEX version. Two-hand safety blocks protect presses and fixtures against unintentional triggering.
