Safety couplings with a nominal width of 10 mm vent the line before disconnection and are designed for higher air flow. The range covers about 10 items from CEJN as safety coupling sockets.
Available are hose tails for 10 mm to 3/4" hose and thread connections from R 3/8" to G 3/4" as internal and external threads.
The safety coupling sockets release in two stages: first the line is vented, only then does the connection separate. This prevents an uncontrolled whip-back of the hose at the high pressure and flow rate of nominal width 10.
