Norgren category 930 brings together safety valves used as over-pressure protection in compressed air and gas systems. They open when a defined response pressure is reached and thereby limit the system pressure.
The range comprises 35 items with response pressures in graduated ranges, including versions rated 8 bar and 16 bar. The valves protect downstream components against inadmissibly high pressure.
Safety valves limit the pressure in air receivers, lines and downstream devices. When the set response pressure is exceeded they open and release medium until the permissible value is reached again.
