Safety valves and instrumentation
Safety valves in nominal size DN 10 limit the operating pressure in compressed air and liquid systems. Every version is factory set and sealed, so the set pressure is adjusted during production and cannot be altered in service. The range covers 1137 versions with set pressures from 0,2 to 50 bar.
Connection threads run from G 3/8" through G 1/2" to G 3/4"; body and seat are made of brass. Depending on the set pressure, the discharge capacity ranges from 22,2 to 1919,5 m³/h.
Typical installations are compressed air receivers, compressor stations, air service units and pressure control lines where the permissible pressure must never be exceeded. At the low end from 0,2 bar the valves protect vessels and lines rated for small overpressure, while the upper end up to 50 bar covers test benches, hydraulic circuits and water supply systems. The brass body suits compressed air, water, oils and neutral gases, but not aggressive media. Because the setting is sealed, the response point cannot be shifted after installation.
