Köly stainless steel ball valves, 3-piece

Three-piece stainless steel ball valves from Köly, supplied complete with a pneumatic quarter turn actuator, open and close process lines up to PN 63 under automatic control. The three-piece body can be opened for cleaning or seat replacement while the end connections stay in the pipe. The range holds 97 versions from DN 10 to DN 100.

End connection, actuator function and seal material define the choice. Threaded ends run from G 1/4" to G 4"; butt weld ends are also offered, for example 21,3 mm on DN 15. The actuator is double acting or spring return, either spring-to-open or spring-to-close, and each version is available with an FKM seal.

Technical data

⚡Nominal pressure PN 63 - stainless steel body in three-piece design, rated for operating pressures to 63 bar.

📏DN 10 to DN 100 - face to face lengths from 60 to 270 mm in 17 steps, among them 90, 120, 150, 190 and 240 mm.

⚙Three actuator functions - double acting for controlled travel in both directions, spring-to-close or spring-to-open for a defined position on loss of air.

🔧Threaded or weld ends - threads from G 1/4" to G 4", alternatively butt weld ends such as 21,3 mm for DN 15.

🌡FKM seal option - every actuator function is also delivered with an FKM seal, for oils, greases and elevated temperatures.

🛡Three-piece body - the centre section lifts out, so ball and seat rings can be reached without dismantling the pipework.

Applications

Automated shut-off in chemical process lines, steam and hot water circuits, filling and dosing plants. Spring return versions protect plant sections that have to stay closed or open when control air fails. Weld end versions are chosen where detachable joints in the line are to be avoided.
