Safety valves and instrumentation
Filter regulators of the Multifix series 1 combine air filtration and pressure regulation in a single body. The range covers 77 versions with G 1/4" and G 3/8" connection threads and four pressure regulating ranges from 0.1 - 3 bar up to 0.5 - 16 bar.
Bowls are available in plastic, in plastic with a protective cage and in metal with a sight glass, each with a semi-automatic or automatic condensate drain. The integrated gauge reads 0 - 4, 0 - 10, 0 - 16 or 0 - 25 bar, depending on the version. Lockable models secure the pressure setting against unauthorised adjustment.
These units condition compressed air directly upstream of cylinders, valve terminals and pneumatic tools while keeping the working pressure stable. Typical installations are assembly and handling systems, packaging machines and workshop distribution lines where condensate and particles have to be removed from the supply. Models rated 0.5 - 16 bar suit networks with higher inlet pressure, while the 0.1 - 3 bar versions cover low pressure control tasks. A metal bowl with sight glass is the more robust choice where mechanical load or oil mist occurs around the installation point.
