The Festo Motion Terminal combines hardware with software-loadable motion apps that define valve functions via parameters. This category lists the motion apps of the GAMM series.
The apps reproduce functions such as directional valve behaviour, pressure or flow control digitally, so that functions can be changed without exchanging hardware. This enables flexible adaptation of pneumatic functions through the controller.
Motion apps are used where the same valve hardware is to perform different pneumatic functions. By loading an app, functions such as pressure control or motion control can be adapted without changing components.
