Parker functional nuts combine union nut, cutting ring, elastomer seal into one preassembled part. This range lists 63 items for tube outside diameters of 6 to 42 mm, including loose replacement seals.
Four versions are offered: functional nut carrying an NBR seal, functional nut carrying an FKM seal, plus the matching NBR replacement seals, FKM replacement seals. A second criterion is the series, light series 6 L up to 42 L, heavy series 6 S up to 38 S, threaded M12x1.5 through M52x2.
These nuts belong in hydraulic pipework where a cutting ring joint should be fitted without handling nut plus ring separately. The added soft seal helps at joints that are loosened, then remade several times. FKM versions cover raised temperatures, while the loose seal rings serve repair work on fittings already installed.
