Safety valves and instrumentation

Air service units, 3-part, standard

Three-part air service units combine filter, pressure regulator plus lubricator into one assembly, rated for flow rates up to 18500 l/min. The 64 versions cover connections from G 3/8" to G 2", at overall lengths of 236 to 350 mm.

The regulating range is 0.5 to 10 bar or 0.5 to 16 bar, the gauge span 0 to 16 bar or 0 to 25 bar. The bowl comes as a plastic bowl, a plastic bowl in a protective guard, or a metal bowl without sight glass; condensate drainage works automatically or semi-automatically.

How to choose Air service units, 3-part, standard

What matters when choosing: properties, comparison and typical applications.

Technical data

⚡Flow rate up to 18500 l/min - largest standard size in this line, sized for main supply lines
⚡Regulating range 0.5 to 16 bar - two steps: 0.5 to 10 bar plus 0.5 to 16 bar
⚡Gauge span 0 to 25 bar - built-in gauge reading 0 to 16 bar or 0 to 25 bar
⚡Threads G 3/8" to G 2" - per the product versions, including G 1/2", G 3/4", G 1" plus G 1-1/4"
⚡Overall length 236 to 350 mm - depending on port size, relevant when planning space on a frame or panel
⚡Three bowl designs - plastic bowl, plastic bowl in a guard, or metal bowl without sight glass

Applications

Three-part service units sit at the transfer point between the compressed air network plus the machine, separating water and solids, setting the working pressure, then conditioning the air for oil-lubricated consumers. Ports up to G 2" at 18500 l/min cover production lines plus larger groups of consumers. A protective guard is called for wherever the bowl carries mechanical load or has to be shielded against impact.
