Combination air service units bring a filter, a pressure regulator and a gauge together in one body, treating compressed air right at the machine inlet. The series comprises 87 versions with connection threads from G 1/4" to G 1" in frame sizes 1 and 2.
Depending on the version, the pressure regulating range is 0.5 - 6 bar, 0.5 - 10 bar, 0.5 - 12 bar or 0.5 - 16 bar, while the built-in gauge reads 0 - 10 bar, 0 - 16 bar or 0 - 25 bar. Three bowl designs are available: plastic, plastic plus protective guard, metal bowl equipped with a sight tube.
These units sit at the air inlet of machines, assembly jigs or control cabinets, where compressed air has to be cleared of condensate plus particles before it reaches a steady working pressure. Versions rated 0.5 - 6 bar feed cylinders, grippers as well as valve islands, whereas types reaching 0.5 - 16 bar serve presses or clamping devices running on a higher line pressure. A metal bowl fitted with a sight tube suits areas exposed to oils, solvents or mechanical impact, while the guard protects the plastic bowl in workshop service.
