Ball valves and shut-off valves
Check valves with compression ends pass flow in one direction only and block the reverse direction automatically. They are fitted straight into the tube run without adapters, because both ends carry a cutting ring connection. The programme covers 69 versions for operating pressures up to 400 bar.
Tube size, cracking pressure and material govern the choice. Tube ends run from 6 L (M12x1,5) to 42 L (M52x2) in the light series, and from 6 S (M14x1,5) to 38 S (M52x2) in the heavy series. Spring cracking pressure is 0,2, 0,5 or 1 bar.
Load holding in hydraulic power units, presses and machine tools, where a loaded axis must not drop once the pump stops. Also used to protect pumps and filters against reverse flow, and to separate circuits running in parallel. Low cracking pressures of 0,2 bar go into suction and return lines, where little differential pressure is available.
