About Y-hose connectors

Y hose connectors split a hose line into two branches or bring two branches back together without the need for a manifold block. The group fits hose inner diameters from 3 to 19 mm at a maximum working pressure of 10 bar. Alongside the symmetrical parts there are reducing versions in which the branch has a different bore than the inlet.

What matters when choosing

• Hose I.D. 3 to 19 mm: the connector has to match the bore of the hose in use. Reducing versions have different sizes on inlet and branches, so the dimension is stated in several parts.
• Material acetal copolymer (POM), brass CW617N or a combination of brass CW617N and POM. POM stays light and abrasion resistant, the brass share takes more mechanical load at the joint.
• Max. working pressure of 10 bar applies to all 21 items in the group. Above that system pressure a threaded fitting is the better choice than a push-on connector.
• Max. medium temperature of 90 °C is stated for part of the range only. The brass and POM combinations are limited more tightly than the all-POM parts, so the value on the item decides.
