About Male stud elbows

An angled screw-in support is screwed into a female thread and takes a hose on its 90° leg, secured with a hose clamp. It is the lightweight plastic answer wherever a push-in fitting is not required. The group covers hose inside diameters from 4 to 19 mm at a working pressure up to 10 bar.

What matters when choosing

• Thread: R 1/8, R 1/4, R 3/8, R 1/2 or R 3/4 male. The part the support is screwed into sets the size.
• For hose I.D.: 4 to 19 mm. The figure matches the clear bore of the hose, only then does the support sit tight and the clamp seal.
• Pairing of thread and hose bore: not every thread comes in every bore, the samples pair R 1/8 with I.D. 4 to 8 mm and R 3/8 with I.D. 6 to 10 mm.
• Material: polyamide (PA 6). The product text lists high strength, toughness, low weight, abrasion resistance and high impact resistance.
• Working pressure up to 10 bar over a temperature range of -40 to 90 °C. That marks the limit for warm or more heavily loaded circuits.
