About Hose union elbow

An angled hose fitting support joins two hose ends through a 90° bend and is secured with hose clamps. It lets a hose run change direction without kinking the hose and choking the bore. The group runs from hose I.D. 3 to 25 mm at a working pressure up to 10 bar.

What matters when choosing

• For hose I.D.: 3 to 25 mm, matched to the clear bore of the hose. Too large a support stretches the hose, too small a one leaves the clamp nothing to grip.
• Material: acetal copolymer (POM) or the combination of brass CW617N and POM. The brass version takes more mechanical load, the plain POM version is lighter.
• Working pressure: 10 bar maximum for all 14 items. Higher pressures call for a screwed fitting rather than a hose clamp.
• Temperature range: the product texts state -40 to 80 °C, which limits use in warm circuits.
