About Male stud tees

A T-shaped screw-in connector combines a tapered male thread with two hose tails and creates the branch directly at the port, without an extra tee in the line. The hoses are pushed on and secured with clamps, which keeps assembly and later changes simple. The group covers hose inside diameters from 4 to 10 mm at a working pressure up to 10 bar.

What matters when choosing

• Thread: R 1/8, R 1/4 and R 3/8 tapered male. The choice follows the existing port on the valve, housing or manifold.
• For hose I.D.: 4, 6, 8 and 10 mm are available. The figure has to match the clear bore of the hose, otherwise the clamp will not seal.
• Max. working pressure: 10 bar across the whole group. Where more is needed, a screwed fitting with collet takes the place of hose tail and clamp.
• Material: polyamide (PA 6) throughout. The product text states high strength, toughness, low weight, abrasion resistance and impact resistance.
• Temperature range: -40 to 90 °C as stated in the product text. That limits use with hot media and near heat sources.
