Cutting Ring Fittings
Cutting ring fittings steel galvanized
Cutting ring fittings in galvanized steel join rigid pipework by force and form fit: as the nut is tightened, the ring bites into the outer pipe wall to create a metal-sealing, demountable connection. The zinc coating provides basic corrosion protection on compressed air, oil and water lines.
The Riegler range covers more than 800 items with port threads in G sizes such as G 1/4 and G 1/2 and pipe outside diameters from 6 to 15 mm. It includes pressure-gauge connection fittings for measuring instruments and reducing fittings with sealing cone for joining pipes of different diameters.

How to choose Cutting ring fittings steel galvanized
What matters when choosing: properties, comparison and typical applications.
Design and Function
The cutting ring fitting consists of a body, a cutting ring and a union nut. As the nut is tightened, the cutting ring deforms and grips the pipe surface, providing retention and sealing in a single operation. Galvanized steel suits medium pressure ranges in hydraulic and compressed air applications that do not require high corrosion resistance.
