Adjustable safety valves in nominal sizes DN 5 and DN 10 limit the pressure in pneumatic and fluid systems by opening automatically once the set response pressure is reached. The response pressure can be set within the respective spring range, for example from 1 to 6 bar or from 12 to 16 bar.
The range covers the connection threads G 1/4", G 3/8" and G 1/2" and is intended for vessels, pressure lines and compressor installations. The freely selectable response-pressure interval allows the valve to be matched to the individual system.
Adjustable safety valves protect compressed-air receivers, compressors, pressure lines and downstream consumers against impermissible overpressure. The adjustable spring range is used to match the response pressure to the permissible operating pressure of the system.
