Safety valve, TÜV type-tested, factory-set and lead-sealed, G 3/8", DN 8, 8.80 bar, brass

The set pressure of 8.80 bar is fixed and lead-sealed at the factory, so no readjustment is needed in service. At DN 8 the valve carries away up to 232 m³/h and blows off freely. The body is made of brass and the connection thread is G 3/8".

Applications

The valve is fitted wherever compressed air is stored or distributed and protection at 8.80 bar is required. Its temperature range of -25 to +180 °C covers indoor rooms as well as outdoor installations.

Standards and conformity

As a type-tested component the valve carries the marking TÜV.SV...-882.8.D/G.0.65 CE0036 8,8 bar and leaves the factory lead-sealed. Later adjustment of the 8.80 bar set pressure is therefore ruled out.
