This category covers SMC C(D)Q2 series compact cylinders with a large piston diameter. Larger piston areas deliver higher force at the same operating pressure, so these versions are designed for heavier loads.
With more than 800 items, the category includes variants with a piston diameter of over 125 mm. The cylinders are double-acting with a single piston rod and are available in various stroke lengths.
Compact cylinders with a large piston diameter are used when high pushing or clamping forces are required at a limited air pressure level, for example for pressing, clamping or moving heavy parts. The larger piston area increases the usable force.
